Black Crown Initiate Releases New Single “Death Comes in Reverse”

Black Crown Initiate’s Violent Portraits of Doomed Escape, one of the best metal albums of 2020 thus far, comes out in just two weeks! That’s not a long time in the scheme of things, but it is a long time when you’re a-hungerin’ for some awesome new metal.

So hopefully this will help sate your appetite, at least for awhile: “Death Comes in Reverse,” the latest single from the album (after “Invitation,” “Sun of War,” and “Holy Silence”). Not only is the song excellent, but it’s pretty unique: it has elements of Meshuggah, BTBAM, Faith No More, Viking metal, and, no joke, circus organs. Seriously, “Death” has got capital-S Scope; it realizes its own ambition and then some.
